I began skating with the Winterhurst LTS program when I was 10yrs old. I continued on to complete my Silver Skating Skills and Pre-Silver Singles tests’ before switching focus to study full time at Baldwin Wallace University towards a Bachelors in Science double majoring in I/O Psychology. I began coaching with the Winterhurst LTS program in the Summer of 2012, later having opportunities to choreograph ice show numbers and gain experience leading students in local competitions.

Rachael “Reg” Roth

I have been figure skating for 20 years and have taught Learn to Skate for almost 10 years. I have experience judging basic skills competitions and choreography. I’m open to all ages for private lessons to teach fundamentals, freestyle, and moves in the field. During my time as a skater, I have competed in many competitions, in solo events such as freestyle or ice dance, as well as a few synchronized skating competitions. I have also participated as a skater in 13 ice shows and worked as an assistant choreographer for them. I have passed my Intermediate Freestyle, Senior Moves in the field, and some International Level Ice Dances. I enjoy working with students to cultivate a healthy mindset while sharing my love for this beautiful sport.

Issie Obreza

I have been skating for 20 years and I have been coaching for 4 years.  My specialty is in spins and choreography, but I am able to teach everything.  In the years I have skated I have passed my Senior Ladies Free Skate and Senior Moves in the Field.  I have also won over 200 medals.  Not only do I teach skating skills, I like to incorporate school studies, social skills, and personal interactions in my lessons.

Corey Carbone

With 12 years of coaching experience, Corey Carbone brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to the ice. A former Regional, Sectional, and National competitor, Corey has also performed professionally with Disney on Ice, Holiday on Ice, Woodstock Ice Productions, and Ice Dance International Events. As a 2018 & 2023 USFS National Adult Gold Medalist, Corey has a proven track record of success. He has successfully guided skaters of all ages (3–75) through gold/senior tests, advanced double and triple jumps, and competitive programs at the national level. Corey’s expertise, combined with their professional performance background, creates a dynamic and engaging coaching style that inspires skaters to reach their full potential.

Pam Olszko

After an invitation to join Disney on Ice, Pamela Olszko turned pro in 1989 after 6 years prior apprenticeship coaching learn to skate & synchronized skating.  Pam skated on the Garfield Heights Goldenettes Synchronized skating team and a Junior National Silver Medalist synchronized skating; competed and performed individually and in pairs in countless competitions and ice shows as an amateur; and has over 36 years coaching experience in figures, ice dance, freestyle, moves in the field (skating skills), hockey skills, on & off ice ballet, synchronized skating and show choreography.

Cheryl Genda

Cheryl has been involved in figure skating for more than 30 years. She has been teaching both group and private lessons since 2000.  I enjoy teaching to both children and adults and helping them accomplish their goals.  I feel that it is important to have fun and learn proper techniques.
